Camino Portuguese June (2019)
Hi All as a newbie to this site; just to register and put my info on the calendar, I will be walking as lightweight as possible and on my own, any info would be very much appreciated. Regards David

Hi David , you are giving yourself a few rest days. Buen camino !

David we walked part of this route Tui to Pontevedra in June 2018 and it was quite warm. Plenty of water, good hat and get on the trail early in the morning. Pontevedra is nice for a rest day. Do not miss Arcade (the bridge), the church in Padron and the Hot Springs in Caldas De Reis. We visited Valenca also, and the bridge between Valenca and Tui is fab.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I have done the coastal and the interior and they are equal in many respects. Casa Fernanda is a real treat and Ponte do Lima is lovely, versus walking along the beach and a day in Viana do Castelo. It is a real toss up.

We are planning this route in a few weeks time. Great information about the walk. Thanks. Buen Camino

I'm walking this in 2 weeks time. I'm getting myself ready for rain and wind and VERY light pack. Seems pretty straightforward out of Porto. I hope to have the camino take care (rather than guidebooks) of me as it has done for millions of pilgrims over the centuries. Helps to have information, but I relish the unexpected adventures and fellow pilgrims.
