Camino Primitivo June 11 .... from Montreal to ....

Did camino El Norte ...
June 10 leaving from Montreal Canada to Madrid ... I have 23 days ! I will do the Camino Primitivo but needed to see the sea .... before hand (one week from Santander to Oviedo ? and then the Camino Primitivo ?) How many days of walk from Santander to Santiago ? I have 3 weeks ...? Thanks .. Robert

Hi Robertmtl, I don't know about the norte, but you can do the Primitivo in 11-13 days. That range is pretty standard. A lot depends on ow fit you are....

Hi Philip ... i am not to sure what to do ... i will decide in Madrid ... i am leaving from Montreal Canada to Madrid ... i have 23 days .. and want to do the primitivo ... lots of time ... but may try to leave from Santander ...

Hi Jamie i am in comillas ... And just walking to get ready for the camino primitivo ! Started to fast did 45 km yesterday and today 27 ! I am in pain ! I do have to stop for 2 days ! Sometimes I think I am 25 years old ! Ha ha ha ! I will bus in Oviedo but not sure which date ! I will check my email ! Robert

Did the Primitivo super fast in spite of some bad weather. Had little views opportunity from Hospitales. Amazed by the number of newbies on this route. Finished so quick I am now on the Ingles. Fab fab new hostel in Sigueiro called Sigueiro Hostel bed and breakfast. euros 37 for a single but worth every penny. Riverside restaurant too and all so stylish!
 
When in Comillas do go to the Gaudi 'Capricchio' building and further on to the Museum of Emigration - both so worthwhile.
