My friend who was to complete the Camino Primitivo with me has had to back out. Will anyone else be beginning the Primitivo around the first few days of June?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

If all goes well I plan to start Primitivo on June 20th so there aren't many chances we would meet. But as the pilgrim numbers (also on Primitivo) rises every year you won't be alone.

Ultreia!

I am planning to do the Primitivo as soon as there is two weeks on a row of forecasted fine weather. I'll plan to start from La Coruña, from there to Ferrol by train, then on to Ribadeo by the FEVE railway, spend there the night, taking the FEVE again at 11 am and on to Oviedo. Railway is much cheaper than any bus and I also like to travel by railway better than by bus, you have much more freedom of movement, you go not so crowded and even can talk to your travel companions; besides the scenery by railway is worth the journey. I would apreciate the hint of a hostel in Oviedo to spent the first night in case I do not find any place left at the official albergue. Furthermore I have heard that the hospitaleros at the official hostel are unkind people who deal with you very rudely. Maybe it is only not trustworthy hearsay.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Try Hostal Romero, across from tne trainstation,or Hostal Romero 2-300 meters firther down Uria, on the opposite side of the street, close tomtne Corte Ingles. I jave stayed in both. Romero is a notch above but Oviedo is fine.

Thank you. I'll take note. Hostal Romero, a good hint to begin with. Across the train station. I'll not forget it. Thanks again.

ooops, my mistake. Hostal Oviedo is across the train sation, w'right in the corner with calle Uria. Homero is by the McDonald's. There is a sign on a window on the 2nd floor.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
