For those looking for similar experiences elsewhere in the world, I highly recommend the book, “ Walking Distance: extraordinary hikes for ordinary people” by Robert and Martha Manning! It highlights dozens of hikes around the world (including the Camino de Santiago) with info on the availability of housing, transportation, baggage services, etc. More of a coffee table book than a serious guide, it’s perfect for scoping out where to travel next!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I love this book. I received it as a gift and have given it as a gift to other friends who enjoy walking. I’ve even given it to Camino companions. It’s my hiking “bucket list “.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
