Can anyone tell me how much small change and small notes to carry from SJPP? Just thinking about weight but aware some places will only take cash. Thanks

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Hi Nicolam - My thoughts are to carry enough to get you through to Pamplona. My budget runs around 30 euros per day so I'd round up to 100 euros and reload in Pamplona. I also hide about 100 euros in emergency money and make sure I don't need to dip into it for the duration of the trip.
Hope you have a great experience... Buen Camino!

p.s. unless you're in a hotel, major grocery store, sporting goods store, etc, almost everywhere will likely be cash only.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

We (wife and I) are currently walking the Camino France's and carry a small purse with 50€ in various notes/coins.
In our passport travel wallet we have 300€ to top up our purse.
ATM's are plentiful in larger towns, some charge fees (Zubiri 5€ fee).

Buen Camino

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
