Gaudi's work was called trash by many other artists and architects in his day.

When he qualified in 1878, the director of the school is quoted as saying, "Who knows if we have given this diploma to a nut or to a genius? Time will tell."

Picasso was not a Gaudi fan but Salvador Dali was. I'd like to think that they would both have admired Justo Gallego Martinez's work!
