Credencial in San Vincente

Time of past OR future Camino
Lebaniego (2018)
I plan to have my first camino walk from San Vicente de la Barquera towards Potes or along camino Lebaniego.
I am curious whether I can obtain the credencial in San Vincente.
I am also curious how the weather is there in the later part of September.
Your advices and also information are appreciated.

Where can I get my credentials?
"The credentials to carry out the Camino are acquired in the parish of 'El Cristo' in Santander. If you do not intend to go through the Cantabrian capital before completing the Camino, you can request the credential by email at: parroquiaelcristo gmail.com or by phone: 942 21 15 63 "
