Hi everyone, A little advice please. Arriving Bilbao Airport 2.45pm 7th May 2018. I am trying to decide which options are the best, do I go into Bibao town and get a bus from there to Irun. I wondering how late the Albergue is opened till and whether I have to book prior to leaving?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The bus from the airport is a shuttle to the St. Mames bus terminal and runs every 30 minutes or so.
Someone recently suggested Clarets End albergue in Bilbao which does not take reservations.
The bus terminal is where all the buses to nearby cities depart. So you can ask them about a ticket to Irun for the 7th or 8th. The time to get to Irun is less than 2 hours but I have no idea how long you might be waiting for said bus. If you are jet lagged I'd suggest a stay in Bilbao, there is also an inexpensive hotel down the street from the bus terminal, Hotel St. Mames, I have stayed there many times and now that the neighborhood has been improved, it's good place to stay.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
