Finally going -- May 22, 2022 - Camino Frances.

Hi - I am at long last, after being a member here since 2013, I am finally going - Sarria to Santiago late May 2022.

is it easy to miss the signposts/arrows/shell signs?

It is not easy to get lost between Sarria and Santiago in May-June!

does every place on the Camino have a stamp for the credencial?

Well, I suppose not every place. But don't worry about asking - it IS the done thing.

there are some nice dorm style hostels -- I really feel uncomfortable about that

Then don't feel there is any compelling reason to do so, especially for a short journey. Your sleep is important, as well as the sleep of others! You will certainly meet other pilgrims anyway, especially if you make the slightest effort to join them for meals or coffee breaks. Many private albergues have both private rooms and dorm rooms, so you could get a private room but still be around other pilgrims.

Friend and I will be going from Sarria too 5/11-5/16. This will be our first time. Buen camino!
