Sept 2016
Hello everyone,

I am planning my first Camino in Sept 2016! I'm very excited. I plan to walk the Camino Frances, although I was a little torn at first about the route I wanted to take. If it ends up being too crowded, I hear it's not that hard to get to another route.
I'm not exact on my start date because I'm trying to put together a week in Paris, France before I start my Camino. I'll be travelling from the NE of the US.
I cannot wait, this is going to be such a great spiritual experience.
I've wanted to do this for a long time but never thought I'd be able to. Recently, I decided that "the time is now" and I am going to do it the upcoming year! I don't have much time to plan but as long as I get to Spain, I'm sure all the rest will fall into place!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hi and welcome to this wonderful forum.
Wish you happy planning and a Buen Camino, Peter.

Enjoy the planning! It's easy to get a little stressed over all the many decisions to make (Unfortunately, I know that personally....I had to let go of making the perfect decision.). The forum has been a great resource for me, and I'm sure it will be for you. So much great advice. Just remember that your decisions are for your needs, and as those who have been on their Camino(s) will tell you, you will have plenty of resources all along the way.

Buen Camino!

Thank you all! I am very excited and see tons of information on this site that will help me move forward in my planning.

Buen Camino. I plan on starting my second Camino on or about the 4th of October. Like you, I am from the NE (Pennsylvania). Check out American Pilgrims on the Camino (americanpilgrims.com) They have chapters all over t he US, and several in the NE.
