First timer

My sister and I have booked our flights (from USA) into Madrid. We're starting in Roncevalles. We'll arrive May 21, and hope to begin our journey the next day. We are anxious, nervous, and lots of other feelings, but we're committed now that we've booked our flights! I've read we can get our pilgrim's passport from the abbey in Roncevalles. Oh, I think I read we can take a train or bus from Madrid to our starting point, is this true?

You can take a bus from the Madrid airport to Pamplona, where you will need to transfer to one of the buses to Pamplona. Starting March 17, ALSA has a bus to SJPdP that goes through Roncesvalles.
