Dear all,

I am a first timer and am hoping to walk the camino in 2020, April.

I will have two weeks at my disposal and I am trying to figure out where to start to be able to end in Santiago at the end of the two weeks. I am a good walker, trained.
Thanks for all your advise.

Yours,
Gijs

One possibility you could do would be to start in sarria and go to Santiago which would take most of your first week and then continue on to finisterre in muxia, then catch a ride back to Santiago. That would give you your Compostela from sarria to Santiago and you'd get around the coastal route a little bit, or a rough starting place to end up only in Santiago would be maybe about Leon

Leon or Astorga to Santiago.
If you want a lonely walk, Camino de Invierno from Ponferrada to SdC.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Gijs:

Depends on how many actual walking days, your condition, pace etc. I will make the assumption you have 14 actual walking days and are average 20-30 km's per day.

Assuming that, I would recommend you start in Leon. If you want a little more challenging route, you could walk the Primitivo.

Ultreya,
Joe
