Flights booked! SJPDP Sept 6th

John MLT

Not all those who wander are lost!
Time of past OR future Camino
2019: Sanabres; Primitivo; 2018: SdC-Muxia-Finisterre; 2017: 2014-2017 SJPdP-SdC; 2015: Tui-SdC;
Hi all, just booked my return flights for the Camino Frances this September! Pretty excited now. Due to leave issues, I'll be splitting my camino over two parts, the first from SJPDP to Burgos, and the second from Burgos to Santiago in April 2017.

Fellow members Joseph and Ray are to blame for this mischief! :)

A little bit about myself and the trip - I'm not quite new to the Camino, though I hastily add that I am nowhere close to being a veteran! Walked Sarria to Santiago in May 2014 and Tui to Santiago in May 2015, with a number of other walking holidays around those. I have been pondering about finding ways to do this for months now, and it is indeed a relief once plans are hammered out and dates are set. I am sure this is a feeling shared by many of you. In the next few months, I do hope to learn a lot more about this journey I will soon take, and while I know better then lifting expectations, I do wish that this walk will be much more than a physical challenge in Northern Spain. Last but not least, I am very much looking forward to get to know a few of you.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Hi John. Unlike you I'm a true newby! I booked my flights a few days ago too and, although starting from Lourdes, I'll be arriving in SJPdP on 6th Sep and leaving the following morning (if I survived the first week that is!). We may bump onto each other perhaps. Buen Camino!

Hi NicMen, Buen Camino to you too :) Hope to see you in France on the 6th then, I too intend to start walking the morning of the 7th. My plans have changed slightly as I'll now be walking to Leon, aiming to arrive on the 26th, though plans do change! Best of luck for the first bit from Lourdes, keep us posted!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
