From Ireland to Scotland, Orkney, England and Spain

Time of past OR future Camino
None at the moment... but am walking the North Highland Way...
2019 was the year I was confirmed in the Church of Ireland. It was an uplifting spirtual experience, and I was delighted to see some of the wonders of the world everywhere I went. Kicking off in Scotland, at Durness, where we launched the North Highland Way passport. We met a fascinating group of ladies in the cute little church in Reay, then were thrilled to be able to go to a service in Canisbay church, the late Queen Mother's church. We missed Prince Charles by a week!

On then, to Orkney and St. Magnus Cathedral. Wonderful. Of course, St. Magnus has his own Camino. Visit Orkney at any time. Very welcoming and friendly.

From there we went to Lincoln Cathedral... another stunning building. I had forgotten just how beautiful it is. And there is a Camino!
Louth to Lincoln

We did want to get to Lancaster to the Cathedral and St. Brian Arrowsmith, but next time perhaps.

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
The route look very nice, have you walked any of them?

Hi,

Yes, I have walked across the top of Scotland on the North Highland Way, around Lincoln most of my life until I was 15 and on Orkney, not as much. I will be doing more of the Louth to Lincoln route at Xmas when I go back to Lincolnshire.
