Can anybody tell me how long, in terms of time, the bus journey from Fromista to Burgos is?

I can see that the Amaya bus company has a bus that leaves Fromista at 7.30 am, but I can find no indication of what time it arrives back in Burgos.

Any information would help me in planning my journey home which is via Bilbao.

I know I could walk on to Carrion de los Condes and get 17.10 bus the same evening which would get me to Bilbao at 21.00, but I don't like arriving into unknown cities late at night in the dark.

If anybody had travelled from Burgos to Fromista you would have an idea of the length of time.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi Lydia,

I can't find an exact arrival time (strange that the bus company website doesn't show the full timetable :? ). If you stick the route through the various towns listed on the timetable into Google Maps it calculates 1.75 hours for the journey. Allowing for stopping time and the fact that it is a bus not a car, I would have thought that allowing 2.5 to 3 hours max would be adequate.

Not very scientific I know. Hopefully someone who has done the journey wil give you a more accurate answer.

Regards
Mig

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi Miguel,
Thank you very much for your prompt help. Had not thought of train. It opens up the possibility of an evening train maybe after |I have walked and arrived at Fromista, maybe gives me an extra day.

Next trip I will be able to get a train from Santander to Fromista at the start of the camino

God bless,

Lydia
