What is the best way to get back to Paris from Santiago? I am making the pilgrimage in June and want to make my departure plans soon. If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi j2daf,

Welcome to the board!

Here are some alternatives regarding your Santiago - Paris trip.

Option 1:
Iberia (http://www.iberia.com) has one daily flight (direct) flight from Santiago to Paris:
Leaving: Santiago 15:35
Arriving: París, (Charles De Gaulle, Terminal 2D) 17:35

...that would be the most comfortable and easy option... but check prices as Iberia sometimes can be expensive. They have reduced some of their prices lately, so you may be able to find a good deal.

Option 2:
Some sort of combination Santiago - Madrid, Madrid - Paris.
For the Santiago - Madrid leg, check:
http://www.spanair.com
http://www.aireuropa.com
http://www.iberia.com

...for the Madrid - Paris leg you have a lot of options, check all major airlines.

NOTE that if you are flying out of Paris with another airline, make sure you fly in to the same airport... or that you have enough time to change airport.

Option 3:
Spanair and Iberia also have Santiago - Barcelona flights. So it might be an option via Barcelona to Paris as well.

I have also heard of a flight Vigo (one hour drive south of Santiago) - Paris direct flight, I did a search for it but could not find it..... it might be an option as well if you find that flight. They may not fly it daily.

I hope this helps,
Ivar
