Guess who's back?

It's been a while... but I pick up on el Camino from the 2nd October. Flying to Bordeaux and thence to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port ... ultreïa

So I think I will be too late to stay at the Gîtes in central Bordeaux as my flight doesn't arrive until 2300 ... any suggestions of an alternative?

However I really enjoyed staying there when I was last passing through Bordeaux on my way back from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port...

I think it's 9 days to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port from Bordeaux...

This time out I am actively looking for other pilgrims - people I can assist if they need anything. It's 10 years(May 2013) since I got off that train from Saint Etienne and found myself in a bed at the Accueil in Le Puy ... recently I've been walking alone and I feel it's time to connect with others who are looking for another way in life...

So the route after Bordeaux goes through Forêt des Landes... been there done that back on the route from Limoges (where I thought that a far off white spot was another pilgrim I never ever caught (yawn)). Is there a way of missing out this bland section? Like just begin from Dax after a night in Bordeaux?

As an Aquarian I really need to be nearer to a water source and not a huge plantation...
