I, however, cannot survive without my bladder\camel. I have a 2L one which I've been using for all my current hikes but am definitely upgrading to 3L for the Camino...

Try before you buy. I have 2 collapsible water bottles, not cheap, but unusable because it taints all drinks with a silicone/ plastic taste.
