Hi, I saw dolphins in Finisterre, but I don't remember the name of the beach the dolphins were in.

Time of past OR future Camino
Plan to walk Camino de Santiago April/May/June 2016.
Hi, if you have sighted a group of dolphins and know the name of the beach, please let me know?

Sincerely
NorwegianWalker

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Was it a long crescent moon beach on the inside of the peninsula?

Well, the dolphins aren't stuck around just one beach. I used to surf a lot around there and saw them on more than one occasion on Praia do Mar de Fora and the beaches further north, towards Muxía (Nemiña) etc.

Even found a dolphin skeleton on the beach there once- quite scary since it looked like human bones at first.

There may also be Dolphins in the more sheltered bays, such as Praia de Langosteira and Praia de Sardiñeiro.

I really miss car camping around there, such amazing beaches!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Just back from Finisterre.
There were some around Sardineiro beach, but as Beiramar says, it might be any beach, bay or cover around the cape.
Buen camino!
