Hi there

....Im starting my camino in Lisbon May 2024- does anybody perhaps know where other pilgrims meet up before actually starting the walk the next day? I am hoping to meet pilgrims walking on the way - similar to Orison where on the 1st day have supper and conversations together?
Please do let me know.
Thank you
Ellen

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Unfortunately, there's no place like that in Lisbon. Because it's a big city and not pilgrim focused you do have to put in more effort to connect with other pilgrims.
If you are going around the beginning of May you will see many (mostly Portuguese) pilgrims in large groups going to Fátima in order to arrive on May 13.

Albergues Will be very busy at this time with the Fátima pilgrims, so plan accordingly.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
