I've been reading the forum for awhile, but haven't posted before. Anyway, I'm leaving soon to begin the french route in SJPP and completing all the way to Santiago. I start walking May 22, and am nervous, but excited. I'm from Las Vegas, NV USA and look forward to meeting new people on the Strange Road to Santiago!

I wish you well on your journey.Yeah, you're right to take the bull by the horns & start in SJPP. I didn't do too much of this crack before my first outing on the camino.......so please post back on Ivar's forum.......it will help new browsers and keep J.Walker et al on the ball.

Great for you Tamsen,

I hope to see you on the camino. My journey begins on the 22nd from Pamplona to Santiago and then completion in Finisterre. I will have my pilgrim's badge sewn on my backpack -- it is bright orange so look out for me. Have good trip from the states.
