Hostel in St. Jean?

Hi everyone,

just wondering if anyone could recommend a good hostel for my first night in St. Jean before beginning the walk. I was recommended L'Esprit de Chemin but unfortunately it is booked up! I am going the end of March.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

In Saint-Jean the office for the Amies du Chemin de Saint Jacques at 39 rue de la Citadelle usually stays open for the arrival of the last train. They can provide you with a Credential and lodging assistance. Their telephone is 05 59 37 05 09. Their volunteers help run the albergue at 55 rue de la Citadelle. Recently renovated this is a fine place to stay.
