Hi

I am planning to walk the Camino Frances from St Jean to Santiago, starting on May 17. I have trekked at high altitudes in Nepal (Gokyo Ri, Annapurna) and walked at high altitudes in Bolivia and Chile, but the camino will be the longest walk I have ever done.

It will be a challenge for a control-freak like me who likes to plan things in detail. In fact, one of my aims for this walk is to try living in the moment. Very Buddhist!

I am also looking forward very much to sharing my journey with other pilgrims.

Best wishes for your own pilgrimage.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

March camino!

Greetings from Montana Bob,

I think I will be two days ahead of you as I am staring El Camino from St. Jean on March 15. I have five weeks to reach Santiago.

This is my first long trek. After 17 years of nursing and building Sage Mountain Center, a sustainable living education center in Montana, I think I am going to need that amount of time to...unwind, re-allign, re-vision, reform, etc.

I'm sending out a wish for your camino Bob- may it be everything you hope for, and more.

Namaste,

Linda
