AN AUTUMN RETREAT IN SANTIAGO 2021 – LEARN HOW TO WRITE AN ICON
From 11 – 17 October 2021 there will be a 5-day spiritual retreat in Santiago de Compostela based on how to write an icon.
The retreat will be led by the Reverend Canon Ian Holdsworth who is an Anglican priest, a veteran Camino pilgrim and a very talented iconographer.
The retreat will cover:
- the history of iconography
- the use of symbols in icons
- how to design an icon
- writing an icon
The cost of this 5-day retreat is 250€, which includes lunch and refreshments each day, and all materials needed to produce the icon.
Participants will arrange their own travel, accommodation and other meals.
Places are limited to 12 people.
