Insects during Spring and Summer?

We will be leaving SJPdP in early June. We will being doing a combination of camping, albergues and private accommodations. Will my insect liner for my tent be necessary at this time of the year?

Insects are not bad, so extra netting should not be necessary.

Just be aware that proper camping places are not frequent on the CF and wild camping is prohibited in Spain. Taking a tent with you might be overkill. As for insects: mosquitoes and the occasional bed bug - and no - staying only in top accommodation will not save you 100% from the later - they travel with the pilgrims ...
