Good to hear another oldy has walked the camino-I am 54 and walked the vdlp in may/june.My only comment would be why wait until you are 60? I can't wait till next year to walk either from paris or le puy.
After all, you never know what is around the corner.

Hi Albert - I am 62 and so feel a kind of companionship with you. We did the Camino Frances last year and it was the wonderful, best, thing we have ever done in our lives...

What a wonderful spiritual, intellectually-stimulating , existential kind of experience it was for us... and that doesn't even come close to describing how wonderful it was.

We would be so happy to travel the Camino Frances again, or to do any of the other routes of the Camino.

I think we are going to do the VDLP this coming spring.... we hope you will join us!! Here (for what it's worth, is my philosophy for the future - and you can check this out with your financial analyst):
