Is Ondarroa a worthwhile detour?

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances 2022
Norte/Primitivo 2023
I am planning my stages for the Camino del Norte and I note that, although there are interesting discussions about several alternative routes (mainly to hug the coast or avoid pavement), I have not found discussions regarding going through Ondarroa on the Deba-Markina stage. My guidebook and Buen Camino do not suggest Ondarroa as a stop along the way, although my National Geographic map of the Camino del Norte does have the route going through Ondarroa. Any Nortenos go through Ondarroa, or is it to be avoided, due to excessive asphalt, lack of facilities, missing an interesting sight, etc?

I would say 'no' as it has no outstanding attractions, unless you just want to see a fairly ordinary seaside town. (I write a guidebook to the Basque Country)

The standard Deba-Markina stage is up and over the hill. With no breaks, no cafes, no extra water stops along the way. I like the idea of an alternate route.
