tres cool, if this caught on as a sentencing trend among judges :arrow: Get thee to a pilgrimage indeed.

The judge has yet to pass sentence and will deal with it on October 11. If I hear outcome I'll keep you posted.
It's a suggestion by the judge but would be unenforceable under law. Sometimes in "minor cases" one can avoid a conviction by making a donation to the court "poor box". This would in turn be given to worthy charitable causes.

Can't find any court reports. Saw something earlier in month which suggested the man was fundraisinfg for local Mayo hospital.http://www.123people.com/ext/frm?ti=per ... wrt_id=262
