Wow, your departure is coming up soon, so happy to hear that you've got your route all planned. I have probably said this a million times to you and others, but just for the record, remember the Peregrino SOS 24 hour phone line with help waiting in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and French. From in Portugal 915 595 213.
I just received an email from the Via Lusitana describing a re-routing between Conimbriga and Cernache, south of Coimbra, but that won't affect you since you're veering off to visit Fatima. I will put up that information as soon as I have more time.
I also have some updates from a peregrino who walked in January from Lisbon to Coimbra. I was hoping to be able to update the Confraternity guide before spring, but now that seems to be unlikely due to work obligations (Why does work always get in the way of the Camino?). But I will post an update page with some helpful advice that he sent me. By the way, my January pilgrim friend had a great time and highly recommends the albergue near Quinta Cardiga. I'll make sure to give more details before you leave. Bom caminho!
