Well im finally here. HOKA looking pretty! And feeling good 😁53702Exhausted .:)
My foot and heel spur is feeling good but my body is feeling tired. Spent a full day in Barcelona now I’m in Irun. I’m trying to ward off some jet lag so I think I will opt for another day of rest. I packed for cold but Spain has other plans for now ...it’s surprisingly hot. All I can say is bring your sunscreen , hat, umbrella all of the above. Well I had an trekking umbrella..note I said HAD... I hope whomever took it in the airport as I was getting patted down and felt up. (always the cyborg turtle’s fault (knee brace) i’m So use to it might even feel nice 🤪) anyway I hope that person Enjoy the comfort on a rainy or sunny day🙄.
If anyone knows where I can find a new trekking umbrella in Irun or San Sebastián please give a shout out.

It’s a good 18C in Irun today 8C in the morning before the sun was up and currently 14C as I type this. But to make up for that Good food here in Spain already yum.

I finally have the blog up so hope you will check it out see the link above. Still have a few bugs to work out yet but I hope to post at least a couple times a week depending on WiFi and my will to type...if my fingers aren’t too pooped.
That’s all for now I will post when I can ...onwards ...camino go

I bought a very good hiking stick at Deportes Apalategui, on Zurríola Hiribidea, 26, which is on the left as you enter Saint Sebastian, just after the gasoline station at the corner of Via Kalea. I can't guarantee a hiking umbrella, but that's perhaps the best outdoor shop without heading into the centre, or into the suburbs.

Are supermercados or other grocery stores open on Sundays on del Norte? Are restaurants open? Specifically, I will likely find myself in these towns on Sundays: Castro-Urdiales, Comillas...
Elevation map shows this is really steep! What’s the best way from downtown Hondarribia up there? Then wish me luck on the Purgatorio—I am a nervous wreck.
My group of six arrives in Irun on May 20 and we're starting our Camino on May 21. Since it's the beginning of the busy season, I'm wondering if we should order trekking poles from Amazon Espana...
