Have been used to not worry about the masks.

How relaxed are people about not wearing mask inside or will you get in to fights for not wearing them?

Especially in hostels?

Planing to walk Camino Frances in April so i am looking in to curent conditions not what was it like last year.

I'm on the Camino now. You will be expected to wear a mask anywhere indoors except while eating or drinking or in your own private room. I forgot twice going into a shop after being outdoors for a while and I was gently reminded. (We have only been staying in private rooms so I'm not sure about the albergues.)

I agree with Wynrich. Exactly the same in Madrid.
