The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
The camera cars that collected the street view data would not have been able to collect images from much of the various Camino paths where they didn't follow roads.

Further, suggesting one small section of the Camino is indicative of the lot is very difficult. My experience was that there was everything from muddy forest path, good compressed gravel, bumpy farm access paths, sealed road, stretches of cobble and so on. You can expect to walk on quite a variety of track surfaces.

The pin points on Leon. The walk out of Leon is one of the worse of the whole Camino. Even after you finally get out of the suburbs, it goes on and on along the side of the main road, all be it on a track. It's pretty depressing. Try and put the little man somewhere else, from Zubiri to Larrasoaña, or after Astorga, for instance. Anne

Thanks for the Update. I think I will start from Astorga and leave the Leon-Astorga part to when I do the whole Francis Route.
