Remains of missing hiker in the Pyrenees, Esther Dingley, have been found:

I'll light a little fire for her spark tonight, and spill some wine for her blood. She may not have been a Pilgrim but I think she was a seeker. I wish her a buen camino

That is so sad. Her partner will be devastated. I have been following that story from Canada.

So sorry to hear this terribly sad news may Esther’s adventuress Soul rest in peace, and her friends and family receive support and comfort at this difficult time.

It is amazing how a missing hiker somewhere in the world resonates with all of us who can relate to being on a beautiful trail somewhere. Hopefully this find will bring closure and solace to her loved one's.

My deep condolences to Esther’s family! To lose such a pilgrim ( by their fruits you shall know them) in their prime with such vibrancy and goodness is a loss to all of us.

This tragedy needs resolution. Her partner suspected foul play. I hope the family gets clarity as to what occurred. This story needs to be kept in the news until there is some clear cause of death, if possible.
May you rest in peace, Esther, on God’s highest peak!

Those who want to follow the case further should do so on regular news media rather than the forum, as the Camino connection is minimal.

Agree, but if there is significant news…even a heads up where we might find info would be of interest to many of us,I think?
