Today in La Virgen del Camino Louise left her very specialised Nordic Walking poles by a cashpoint on the Main Street. A few minutes later we returned and they had gone. We hope that a passing pilgrim might have picked them up as non of the local business owners had any handed in to them.
The poles are Leki and brown/black/gold in colour. As the handgrips are still on Louise's hands they are of no use to anyone else. Tonight we are at Albergue San Antonio in Mazarife if anyone has any news please send us a message on the forum.....there is a reward for their safe return

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
With Nordic poles you have a half glove strap that you clip the poles onto. Louise walked away with her straps on and left the poles behind. They are designed to work with the straps so pretty useless to anyone else.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I'd be lost without my poles! I bent a carbon fibre one in a farm gate near Arzacq and had to walk on lopsided and funnily enough, in pain.... Rang my husband who went to Decathlon and delivered me a replacement. I had only been walking for six days at that stage. Lucky to have a local husband at that stage!

Lise we were lucky that the local bank manager came with us , asked everyone and helped us look around....no luck I'm afraid and Louise now has blistered hands from cheap replacement poles. We still have quite a way to go so may have to ship some out!

Quick thought
A bit strange getting blisters from any reasonably decent poles ?
Is your friend gripping her poles tight ? Unless it is tough stuff just relax the grip , lots of poles including my Leki's, can even be left dangling from Velcro wrist tabs if need be; or just hold lightly onto them on the flat stuff.
