Please can you tell me if it is allowed to spend more than one night in the hostels in Santiago? I'm hoping to arrive mid-April, and would like to stay 2 or 3 days.
Thanks

I don't know about the hostels but expect there will be presssure on them this year. I stayed in a fine hotel about 10 minutes from the Cathedral square (Hostel La Salle) for 3 nights. I was about 26 euro a night and I would recommend it.

I stayed at the acuario albergue in santiago for 3 nights but it was not at all crowded. I would think this year with the crowds it might be a one night maximum but that is just a guess.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
