Neda opposes alberghe charge

The town of Neda near El Ferrol on the Camino Ingles is opposing the overnight charge being introduced. One of the main reasons for introducing the charge was that it provides income to pay for cleaning, set opening times, and improved facilities. This is ok on the Camino Frances, where the alberghes are well-used, but on the other, less-used routes, the no of pilgrims for much of the year is not enough to even pay someone to collect the charge, let alone anything else. There's not much point having someone manning the alberghes at specific times if days or even weeks go by with no pilgrims. I'm sure Neda is not the only place with these issues, and no doubt some compromise will be reached. In the meantime, from the photo on Voz de Galicia's report, it looks like they could do with paying someone to clean up the graffiti.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Unfortunately graffiti is a universal problem world wide. We certainly are not exempt here in Canada. I don't know what the solution is but if someone eventually comes up with one they should get a Nobel Prize. :?
