Nice albergue in Piñera ( after Luarca )

CTreacy

Oh no , not again.
Time of past OR future Camino
Portuguese ( Sep 2017)
Primitivo ( Sep 2018)
Norte (Aug / Sep 2019)
del Plata ( Mar / Apr 2020 ?)
There is a very nice albergue in Piñera. Not to be overlooked. Very useful information provided for the various options to Ribadeo and on to Mondonedo. Also the pilgrims meal is certainly worth it. Maybe too short a stage from Luarca.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

One of my favorites on the Norte. The hospitaleros are wonderful. I walked there from Villademoros, just after Cadavedo, which was 28.75 km.

I give this place 2 thumbs up! When I was there it was late October with just 4 or 5 people. There was no pilgrim meal but a great snack when I got there and the Hospitalero was the nicest man.
