Notre Dame de Paris, new finds

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thanks for sharing! Made me wonder how the restoration process was going. Just found this article from January. Tomorrow 4/15/2022 (or perhaps that is already today if you are in the EU) marks 3 years since the fire. I was due to go to Paris a few weeks later. Sadly my daughter never got tour it because everything was obviously blocked off. I was fortunate to visit many years earlier - Good Friday 2004. Will be staying nearby again in May - will have to take more pictures!

Kim Willsher in an article published 14 April, 2022, in The Guardian details recent findings of ancient tombs and statues unearthed beneath Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris.
I know, heard in on French radio today! Soooo exciting Thank you for posting it

After I completed the CF in June of 2017 and spending 5 blissful days in Santiago, I rode the train to Paris. It was a strange feeling to trace by rail part of the route travelled on foot sipping a cold beer as we passed the westward flow of pilgrims. I stayed a few days in Paris before flying home to Seattle. Attached is a photo I took on June 12th. So happy to note the restoration is proceeding apace.
