My granddaughter and I are planning to walk the Camino next year. We will have pilgrim passports.
Will we be able to stay in albergues if we were to start west of Sarria?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi Dick,

Welcome to the Forum!

You and your granddaughter will definitely be accepted in pilgrim albergues, if space is available, with your Pilgrim Passports. Be sure to have them stamped when beginning your walk and twice a day as you walk towards Santiago. In order to receive a Compostela in Santiago you need to show proof via your stamps that you have walked 100 kilometers.

Happy planning and Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
