LIVE from the Camino pilgrim marilyn arrives safely in Santiago!

I walked into Santiago on June 1st...having left Roncesvalles on April 28th ....and all is well...I will post when I get home about the management of my diabetes while on the Camino...and other Camino thoughts...esp the many coincidences..such as bumping into and chatting with the author of my favorite Camino book...Nancy Frey at O´Ceberio....

As those pilgrims who walked during the month of May 2008 will agree..nothing is better than good raingear! I understand that this was the rainest month of May on record in Spain...after the first week...take the newspaper out of the boots...put the raincover on the pack and raingear on the body...were automatic each morning...no need to even check the weather!!!

Good night from lovely Costa Vella...in sunny Santiago....goodness..we have actually had two sunny days in a row...
