Well, almost. He did admit to a mobile phone for emergencies. But he did keep the food and fire-lighting equipment medieval. Must have smelt a bit when he got there.

Wouldn't fancy carrying a woollen cloak weighing 'two stone' (28 pounds, 13 kilos). Seems a lot, I would guess that would be when it was damp, which would be all the time in Britain.
