Apologies. this is an old series so may have been posted before but there is a link below to the Pilgrimage series presented by Simon Reeve which covered the Camino de Santiago and the Pilgrimage to Rome. Hi Mig. Did you like the series? I saw it some years ago and I wasn't particularly fond of it. I thought it was a bit superficial and Reeve went through the whole thing really quickly.
But of course that might just be because I'm being too critical and grumpy .

The dvd of this is still available on Amazon,but I had hoped he had spent more time on the Camino,though his reaction in the Cathederal perhaps redeems his sceptical attitude at times.

Hi Sabine, I quite like Simon Reeve as a presenter so yeah I quite enjoyed it first time round. I noticed it was currently being repeated, hence the link. I think it is difficult to convey the experience through words and pictures alone and of course limited time. There are certainly better documentaries (six ways to Santiago for example) but don't know if that will make it to mainstream TV. Got to take those little Camino fixes when you can get them .
