- My sister and I have booked our flight, leaving USA May 20, 2014
My sister and I will begin our pilgrimage May 20th, arriving in Madrid May 21st. We'll take the train to Pamplona and from there bus or taxi to Roncevalles, where we'll begin our walk. We are 1st timers, and anxious to be among the other pilgrims! I've heard the Abbey, in Roncevalles, is a good place to get our pilgrim passport, and perhaps a good place to stay the night? We'd like to stay our 1st night in a decent, semi-private place, to get a good nights sleep before we start our walk, since we'll be coming from the USA, we may have a bit of jet lag, maybe, hopefully not!
