Edwin, I arrive at midday on the 6th and am heading straight off from the station. Thinking of doing Valcarlos route , that way I can see how I am going and will either spend the night of 6th in Valcarlos or if going well push on to Roncesvelles.

Which route are you taking?

see you out there.

Mark

Hi Mark, unless it is not snowing or heavily raining I´m planning to take the Napoleon route across the mountains, which I think is the usual intention for an Austrian guy :)

Anyway, I plan to leave St. Jean very early at 7:00 - with Roncesvalles as my daily goal. So we may meet there or later.

Cheers, Edwin

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Only takes a few minutes to zip up to the pilgrim office to find out what conditions are like for both routes.
Have a great time guys.
Buen Camino

Hi Edwin, before you set off visit the Pilgrim office and they will tell you what the weather is like.
They will advice you witch route to take.
Wish you a wonderful journey and a Buen Camino, Peter.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi folks, thx for your comments, much appreciated. cheers, Edwin
