Out the door later than usual knowing it was going to be a short walking day.
Stopped at the first open bar and enjoyed a quick Cappuccino and back on the street to find the trail.
The trail took me up a steep hill and along a ridge line for a good portion of the day. I passed only 1 town then arrived in Aulla well before my assigned check in time at my Air B&B, (Bike &Bed).
The owners were beyond accommodating and drove several of us to a local restaurant (Locanda Brunella) for dinner since everything in the immediate area was closed on Mondays.
She later came back to pick us all up.
I highly recommend this Air B&B and this restaurant if you are stopping in Aulla.
