Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi Athena,

Here are some ideas..

How to get from Porto to Tui
There is a bus and I believe you can also take the train. Here are some earlier posts that does not really answer your question, but it gives you an idea:

US Flights to Porto
and
Flights from Santiago to back to the US

You could book your transatlantic flight to a bigger city in Europe (Frankfurt or London, for example) and then take a low-cost-airline to Porto and from Santiago. With these low-cost airlines you can get a one way ticket at a good price (if you are early).

RyanAir flies from Frankfurt and London to Porto. And from Santiago you can fly back to either Frankfurt or London. This might be an option.

NOTE: make sure you have enough time to change airport in Frankfurt or London. RyanAir uses smaller airports outside of town. Also, RyanAir has only one flight to London/Frankfurt per day, so you need to have this in mind when trying to setup your itinerary.

Good luck and buen camino!

flights to Porto: depending on where you're coming from, I would have thought you'd be better off flying to Lisbon, and catching the train N; there's a good service. Timetables at http://www.cp.pt. Back from Madrid or Barcelona. X-Atlantic will be your major expense, so better to get as close as possible, unless fares are outrageous.

getting to Tuy: as in thread Ivar gives, but other way round: catch train to Valenca, and start there, walking over bridge to Tuy.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Thanks, Ivar and Peter, for the very useful information! I hope to make these arrangements within the next month.
