The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I have found that these nagging things called work, groceries, utilities, automobile note, tuition costs, cellular phone bills etc cause me to settle back into "normal life" quite quickly lol. Reality bursts the walking the Camino bubble almost immediately upon getting home.

For me, thinking and talking about the Camino everyday while real life surrounds you helps with the Camino withdrawals. Like someone said above, continue walking plus start planning your next adventure!

I got back from the CF (my first) mid October and have really struggled with my re-entry, so am interested in this topic. Came home with an injury, so can't walk 35 miles a day - nor do I want to - am exhausted and feel very discombolulated - but gather that's not unusul. Have just finished reading Alexander John Shaia's book "Retuning from Camino" - very compassionate, accessible and lots of good (manageable) ideas for reflecting and supporting yourself - makes perfect sense to me of my experience - the most helpful thing I've read.

how [to] settle back to normal life after 5 or 6 weeks away
I have found that these nagging things called work ...

I have a two step process:
1) Stop somewhere different for 3 to 5 days and smell the roses
2) My flight home is at least 24 hours and the trip from the airport past familiar landmarks is a good grounding back to normality

I actually have no difficulty returning to everyday life and not being on the Camino. Never had difficulty even after the first time I walked it, and I have walked it several times since. Just one of those things that was enjoyable while doing it and now am doing something else. My life at home.
Like I have said on this forum before, my ability and resources to take time to be able to walk the Camino in the first place is enough for me to return home with no post Camino blues, or whatever it is called. My being blessed like that is enough. So, so blessed when there are so many others who are not. Why would there be a need for anything else?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Easy, just remember your friends and family lives continued, so while they will be polite but not that interested in your experience.
True. I have never bored family and friends with my Camino photos and stories. They may ask me about it a little bit, but it never goes beyond that. That is save but for a couple of them who have interest in doing it someday. I can totally understand why. Nobody really wants to hear about someone's else's holiday trip while they were still at home working, or whatever. It would be like those comedy shows where the characters are trapped at a relative or neighbor's house having to endure a vacation photos slideshow, lol.

I intend walking all of the 800 km CF. I am intrigued to know how one can settle back to normal life after 5 or 6 weeks away. Thanks
Liam
I am only able to settle back down to normal life after returning home if I am quite confident there is a "next camino" in my near future.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
My experience is that when I come back I spend several days or weeks daydreaming about Camino, until I make a landing in everyday life. And that's when I start planning my next one. Of course, this has taken a toll in my relatonships with friends and family, but what can I do? I feel way more alive when walking in Spain, and you get hooked on that.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
