Poste Restante in Spain

I'am not perfect, but I'm always myself!!!
Hola fellow pilgrims

I would like to get some info on Poste Restante service in Post offices in Spain. More accurately on Camino de Levante but I guess it's mas o meno the same throughout Spain.
I have two pairs of well broken in boots and don't want to buy a new pair until it is neccesary. But I'm a bit afraid they might just fall apart after a few hundreds of kilometers I was thinking that my family could send the second pair a few days ahead of my walk and I could pick them up at post office. Since there aren't many albergues with hospitaleros on Levante that seems like the easiest way to get it done. Also I like to read english language books on my travels but really don't want to carry few of them in my backpack and I have no need to buy any in larger town along the Camino because I have quite a large stock of them already
Do you have any experience regarding this? How does it works? Are there any major differencies from other EU countries?

Thank you very much in advance!

The web of correos is down at the moment so I can't provide you a link with the info they provide about Poste Restante but I think you could look for that info by yourself once their web is running again. If they didn't change its name, the service is called Lista de Correos.

Muchas gracias, Castilian!

I had some problems with official web site you've provided but found what I was looking for here:

It's actually the same procedure as I knew but it is better to check it out. Was wondering also for how many days the parcel/package would wait for me. I guess at least 15 days which is more than enough for me - I can cover more than 300kms in that time frame

In addition to that the example on upper link has Valencia as a destination. That's the town where I'll start my Camino in exactly 62 days

They keep lista correos packages for 30 days, so you'll have no problems. Hope you have a good one - I loved my time there last autumn.
