Primitivo - mid-September 2021 - solo on 3rd Camino

I am planning on walking the Primitivo from Ovideo in mid-September 2021.

I would like to plan the timing to see the Sudarium of Oviedo on display in the Cathedral. The information I have now is it will be on display on Feast of the Triumph of the Cross on 14 September, and its octave on 21 September.

I walked the Frances from Leon in 2016, the Portogues from Porto in 2018 with my wife, but I am walking solo this time as a celebration of the start of my retirement.

Buen Camino

The Sudarium was on permanent display in the cathedral with other relics when I was there in 2017.

Unless you specifically want to see it in procession you can visit the cathedral to see it and get a stamp at the same time.

If you have time the churches at Naranjo are also worth seeing.
