Thank you very much for your kind comments, the dates on the Frances were 29 th February to 9 March 2016. I cannot comment on how typical the snow as it was first "Snow Camino". But in reality the snow was not a problem. These are beautiful Dermot. Thank you for sharing your eye for beauty, computer talent once back home and your wit, both in some of your shots and comments.
A question: what dates were you on tne Frances and how typical is this little amount of snow for those dates?
Thank you Kialoa3.Well done, Dermot.
Thank you very much Anemone del Camino. Firstly I will say to you keep taking your photographs and don't be too harsh on yourself. I have thought of bringing groups but I know I will be faced with problems re public liability insurance and maybe even need a travel agents licence. My Spanish is also lower than basic. But yes I wont rule out the idea. I am 58 this year and have no other employment. I have invest huge time in this project and the website and it just is not making any money, but I still feel it is worthwhile. Again your encouragement is appreciated. Now I will finish editing my Via de la Plata work and this might be live witin a day. I will try to post a link on the VDP section or just check the blog. DermotDermot, I just took a look at your blog and website. What wonderful work. I smile when I see all the pictures you take of the textures of the land, the windows and doors, because they always catch my eye. But my sad pictures do not compare to yours. Between ypu amd I, I think you could expand your business by taking people on the Caminos to teach them about photography. I would be your first client, and I don't need to have by bags schlept, my meals waiting for me, and I am happy to lull everyone to sleep with my snoring in a public or private albergue.
Thank you very much Bogong. For the section Astorga to Sarria maybe 25 people max, then a little more from Sarria onwards, I left Sarria on a Sunday morning. Regards Dermot (Nalod)Your gorgeous photos bring back wonderful memories for me, of winter 2014. Thank you so much!
But you seem to have struck many more pilgrims on the way than I did!
De Colores,
Bogong

Very well done, Dermot. Excellent photos. Respect for carrying the DSLR - I thought you might have opted for much lighter gear. I use Canon full-frames at home but on the Camino I have been using a Sony RX100 for weight reasons - the quality is outstanding (see some examples on: https://carrigmanblog.wordpress.com/2015/05/11/camino-de-santiago-st-jean-pied-de-port-to-logrono/).
